Central Monitoring Station (CMS)

GTC Global’s Central Monitoring Station (CMS) is a central call centre which links customer CCTV and alarm systems to safety, health and regulatory authorities.

This centre delivers unprecedented integrated safety and security to clientele by linking surveillance, building management and alarm systems to central monitoring, trouble shooting and communication with

the local police, hospitals, fire stations, town council headquarters and a special armed guard service. Communication is established through GTC Global’s wired and wireless backbone as well as through high-speed Internet.

Housed in GTC Global’s head office in Sunway Damansara, the CMS operates 24/7 and also forms a help desk for clients. The Station is capable of running event driven and video based monitoring through GTC Global’s network. Equipment in this Station include two-way audio communication devises and digital recording which also forms a customer’s image archive system for tracking and investigations. The system also reduces false alarms by allowing video verification prior to contacting local authorities.
